Jane DO is a fitness brand crafted by former Radio City Rockettes Jacey Lambros and Danielle DeAngelo. Knowing firsthand that it takes a comprehensive cross training regime to be the most powerful version of yourself, they developed a workout that offers variety and caters to every woman. Jane DO has women reaching new levels of strength and confidence in the studio so they can take it outside the studio and DO incredible things.

Dani and Jacey begin the episode by sharing the backstory of how they met. They became friends when they were both part of the Radio City Rockettes, and from there their friendship grew into a partnership. They give Diana and Ednesha the details on the struggles they faced when sculpting their brand image, and how it grew over time. They touch on the importance of balance when it comes to relationships that are both personal as well as professional.

Next, the women give an overview of what patrons can expect when they join Jane DO. Jane DO delivers musically charged, energy driven, cross training workouts designed for women by women. Five unique classes fuse aerobics, strength training, and flexibility to provide the variety women need to DO it all. They add that these classes, although tailored for women, will give an excellent work out to anyone who enrolls, regardless of gender.

After a short break, Dani and Jacey return to discuss what their business looks like at the moment due to COVID-19. Lucky for them, they were in the works to launch a fitness app at the onset of the pandemic, so they already had an outlet to adjust their teachings. Now, through the app and their live streams they continue to connect women from across the country. They acknowledge that Zoom helps break down barriers between their students. This allows them to have deep conversation and connect mental health and fitness to strengthen confidence in their “janes.”

Lastly, to close off the episode, Dani Jacey talk about their new book club. They tell listeners what is on their “to read” list and how to join. They also include many other ways that listeners can join the Jane DO movement.

Thank you so much for tuning into BeREAL this week. Be on the lookout for a brand new episode next Tuesday. In the meantime, make sure to listen to last week’s episode about mental health and the holiday season in 2020.
