My approach to psychotherapy is a blend, drawing from my training in psychodynamic, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT). If you are experiencing challenges in your daily life, navigating life transitions, or exploring your perception of yourself and your relationships, I will provide a supportive and safe environment to guide you through a collaborative, therapeutic process. I am able to attune and adapt to your unique needs, and will work with you to address difficult emotional and mental health issues. I will help facilitate insight and awareness, and help you create the change you need to live a fulfilling life.
I have experience with clients from all walks of life, particularly in LGBTQIA+ identities, young adults, and teens. I have worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings, and have worked with a wide range of disorders, from Anxiety to Schizophrenia to ADHD. I work from a trauma-focused lens, and I am committed to providing a trusting and non-judgmental environment while you explore and process. Together, we will investigate the parts of your life that are serving you, and the parts of your life that can be challenging.
I am from Washington DC, and moved to New York City four years ago. I received a BA in Psychology from American University, and a graduate degree from Columbia School of Social Work. I look forward to connecting with you!
