Grace Williams, LMSW is a psychotherapist at BeWELL whose approach blends psychodynamic therapy, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT). For individuals facing challenges in daily life, navigating life transitions, or exploring their sense of self and relationships, Grace provides a supportive and safe environment for a collaborative therapeutic process.
Attuned to the unique needs of each client, Grace works closely to address difficult emotional and mental health issues, facilitating insight and awareness to help create the changes necessary for a fulfilling life. With experience working with clients from all walks of life, Grace specializes in working with LGBTQIA+ individuals, young adults, and teens.
Grace has worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings and has supported clients dealing with a wide range of disorders, from anxiety and ADHD to schizophrenia. By working from a trauma-focused lens, she is committed to creating a trusting, non-judgmental environment where clients feel safe to explore and process their experiences. Together, Grace and her clients will examine the aspects of life that are working and identify areas that may be more challenging.
Originally from Washington, DC, Grace moved to New York City four years ago. She received a BA in Psychology from American University and a graduate degree from the Columbia School of Social Work. Grace looks forward to connecting and supporting you on your journey to well-being.
