Danielle Fokshner joined BeWELL in 2021 and serves as a Psychotherapist on the BeWELL team.
She believes that the relationship between therapist and client is one of the most important parts of the therapeutic experience and strives to maintain an honest, safe, and transformative space for all of her clients.
Danielle is passionate about helping individuals break the patterns that are holding them back from a path to greater success. She especially enjoys working with Somatic Therapy and has completed trainings in IFS and Lifespan Integration, which help individuals heal their nervous systems and get unstuck. She also enjoys working with adults going through life transitions, work stress, and has experience working with many high profile clients in helping them develop and enhance their leadership skills.
Danielle operates with a cross cultural perspective and is LGBTQ+ affirming.
Danielle also has expertise with couples work. She is trained in the Gottman Method, one of the most well researched couples methods which aims to improve communication, conflict resolution and create more empathy and compassion within relationships. She also has experience working with IFS with couples.
Danielle greatly believes in everyone’s capacity and potential to transform their lives. In session, she taps into this potential by combining creativity with evidence-based practices and can employ many creative modalities in the therapy room, such as meditation, theatre, breathwork, art, and spirituality. Danielle looks forward to establishing a therapeutic relationship with you and helping you on your path to greater wellness.
