EmpowHERing: A Woman’s 101 to Mastering Financial & Mental Health

For many women, navigating money management can feel overwhelming—and it’s time we start having more open conversations about it. This collaborative workshop between BeWELL Psychotherapy and Align Financial Solutions was designed to support a healthier relationship with finances while also prioritizing mental well-being.

For decades, women have faced unique financial stressors, including societal expectations, the gender pay gap, and limited access to financial education. This workshop created a supportive space to break that silence and build empowerment through knowledge, reflection, and practical tools.

By exploring the connection between financial health and mental health, participants engaged in guided meditation, reflective journaling, and practical financial planning exercises to reduce anxiety and build confidence around money.

The session was led by Diana Gasperoni, LCSW-R, and Hazel Secco, CFP®, CDFA®, who brought together expertise in mental health and financial planning.
