Bridget Scanlon is a Master of Social Work student at Syracuse University. After a 20+ year career in banking, Bridget intentionally transitioned to therapy to pursue direct, meaningful work supporting others. Her trauma-informed approach integrates insight-oriented and practical strategies, including somatic, client-centered, and mindfulness interventions. Bridget aims to support clients in understanding themselves more authentically while applying that insight to foster lasting change.
In financial services, Bridget held roles with significant responsibility, balancing client relationships, risk management, and profitability. She brings a grounded, pragmatic perspective to her clinical work, along with a strong ability to build trust and navigate complex situations.
Bridget will meet clients where they are on their journey to change. Whether building resilience, broadening self-awareness, or deepening intimacy, Bridget helps clients meet goals for more aligned and fulfilling lives.
Clients working with Bridget can expect a warm, nonjudgmental, and steady presence. She creates a space where clients feel comfortable being fully themselves while also feeling gently challenged to grow. Her style is collaborative and grounded, balancing empathy with honest reflection so clients feel both supported and meaningfully engaged in the work.
