Currently Hiring Therapists in Hoboken & NYC

 

BeWELL Psychotherapy is seeking fully licensed therapists to join our NYC and Hoboken locations. This role is ideal for clinicians who value depth-oriented work, collaboration, and clinical excellence within a boutique group practice.

Role Overview

Licensed Therapists at BeWELL provide individual psychotherapy to a diverse adult and adolescent client population. Clinicians are supported through consultation, collegial collaboration, and optional leadership or mentorship opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality psychotherapy services (in-person and/or telehealth)
  • Conduct assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning
  • Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation
  • Participate in consultation groups, team meetings, and optional trainings
  • Collaborate with colleagues and leadership as part of an integrated care team

Qualifications

  • Active licensure in NY and/or NJ (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, Licensed Psychologist)
  • Strong clinical judgment and ethical practice
  • Ability to work independently while valuing collaboration
  • Interest in continued learning and professional development

BeWELL Psychotherapy is seeking highly motivated Associate Therapists to join our 3 month post-graduate training program.

This program is designed for recent graduates of accredited Master’s programs in Mental Health Counseling or Social Work (MHC-LP or LMSW). BeWELL offers a rigorous, supportive, and relationally grounded training experience within a boutique group practice setting.

Program Overview

Associate Therapists provide therapy under the supervision of licensed clinicians while participating in weekly training and supervision. The program emphasizes clinical depth, skill integration, and professional identity development, allowing associates to immediately apply learning to clinical work.

  • Interviews take place in the Spring
  • Program begins the first week of August
  • Licensure must be secured or scheduled at time of application

Responsibilities

  • Attend weekly clinical training sessions
  • Provide psychotherapy services under supervision
  • Develop and implement treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Participate actively in individual and group supervision
  • Engage in didactic trainings and continuing education

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Counseling or Social Work
  • Eligible for licensure in NY or NJ (MHC-LP, LMSW)
  • Strong interpersonal and relational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Commitment to engaging fully in the BeWELL community

BeWELL Psychotherapy offers a comprehensive graduate internship for students pursuing degrees in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling who are interested in careers as therapists.

BeWELL is a holistic mental health practice that provides interns with exposure to multiple modalities, clinical styles, and levels of care within both private practice and community-based settings.

Program Overview

The internship is twofold:

  • Private practice therapy experience
  • Group therapy and community mental health work through our BeHER Teen Program, serving partnering high schools

BeWELL is committed to expanding access to mental health services and supporting underserved communities, while maintaining high clinical standards.

Training & Support

  • Individual supervision
  • Small group supervision
  • Practice-wide supervision
  • Ongoing clinical trainings with curated readings and resources

Responsibilities

  • Provide weekly therapy sessions at the practice
  • Recruit, facilitate, and co-lead groups in partnering high schools
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Develop treatment plans with supervisor support
