Sharyn Kline-Felix, LMSW
With over 20 years experience in providing counseling/ psychotherapy to individuals and groups in various settings including mental health clinics, medical and psychiatric hospital units, residential drug treatment facilities and supportive housing programs throughout NYC, Sharyn is excited to bring her expertise to Be.WELL.
Sharyn offers an eclectic psychodynamic approach to her work and is particularly interested in providing supportive counseling and psychotherapy to women of color. She is devoted to working with women of all ethnicities and supporting the movement to spread awareness of the importance of addressing ones mental health needs. Additional, Sharyn has a special interest in supporting women and couples who are experiencing reproductive challenges/infertility.
As an academic/personal counselor at CUNY New York City College Technology counseling center, Sharyn has a great deal of experience in working with young adult college students experiencing anxiety/depression; as well as older adults and the stress and excitement of returning to college.
