You do not have to live life with that ‘stuck’ feeling – feeling that you are living in the day to day motions and not fulfilling your actual potential. That feeling that you could be doing more but for some reason, you are not able to find the motivation. Divya aims to serve as a catalyst for change. Like Carl Jung, a notable psychologist says, “I am not what happened to me, but who I choose to become“. Divya believes that every day people can work to become something greater than what they are currently living for. Research shows that one’s belief in their own ability is both a psychological and biological necessity. Humans desire to strive to be successful mentally, physically, and emotionally. The question is, how do we get there? This question can often have many feeling confused or defeated.
It is normal for you to want to strive for more and believe that you have the control to do more because you do. Divya will work with you diligently and meet you where you are at in order to challenge and encourage you to fulfill your goals, produce long-term insight, and make long-term changes. She will work with you to leave the feeling of defeat and move toward feeling empowered.
Divya is a Columbia University graduate with two master’s degrees: Master of Arts in Psychological Counseling and Master of Education in Mental Health Counseling. She uses her knowledge of mental health, clinical research, and experience in educational settings as a teacher to serve to help people understand their thoughts, behaviors, and purpose in life. She is passionate about working with young adults and college students to meet their mental and emotional goals so that they can be effective to live to the potential of who they choose to become.
