Monique is committed to create a culturally sensitive space to ensure her patients have a comfortable and judgment-free environment to explore their identity, behaviors, feelings and thoughts.
Monique has a true passion for helping and advocating for individuals who are marginalized, underrepresented and those whose voices are unheard. She acknowledges that each person has their own set of unique strengths and believes that everyone deserves to be seen, heard, valued and healed.
Monique has received training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness- Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) for depression, anxiety, trauma and other distressing life experiences.
